Futures Traders Boost Bets on More Fed Rate Increases

Futures traders added to bets that the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise its interest-rate target at least one more time this year after central bank policy makers today increased the rate an 11th straight time, to 3.75 percent. Read more...

Time to Review Floating USD Financing?

In a widely expected move, the Fed raised the target for its funds rate by 0.25% to 3.75% yesterday. The market seems to expect further hikes, with some suggesting a level of 4.00% can be reached by year-end. 1 Year USD LIBOR is already at 4.22% and looks like it could move even higher.
